Under the leadership of Bro. M J Stephen Mankuzhiyil, a committed group of men and women collaboratively strives to assist underprivileged individuals within the community. To enhance and streamline the endeavors of Snehabhavan across different societal spheres, we have established units, and the ongoing formation of additional units remains a part of our action plans.
To coordinate the social work of Bro. M J Stephen Mankuzhiyil, he started St. Stephen Charitable Society Arayangad with Reg.No.381/92 under the Societies Registrations Act XXI of 1860.
Snehabhavan publishes a quarterly magazine called 'Snehaprakasham,' which features various articles, stories, poems, and more. The magazine serves to encourage readers to contemplate their lives and find inspiration to make positive decisions for their future.
Sneha Oil is a purely Ayurvedic medicine produced at Snehabhavan. It is used for various conditions such as bedsores, varicose veins, burns, and joint pains, among others. This medicine has proven to be highly beneficial for our inmates and other individuals who suffer from these ailments.
We receive free medical treatment through homeopathic, ayurvedic, and allopathic doctors from different hospitals. Additionally, we have one doctor, three nurses, and a lab technician to support our medical services.
Every Friday, our medical team visits economically disadvantaged patients in their homes. They provide essential medications for emergencies and also educate caregivers on providing daily care for the patients
Throughout the year, we visit tribal colonies, distributing food, clothing, and medicine, while also providing assistance to fulfill their diverse needs. We organize educational programs to uplift the members of these communities. The doctors and nurses from Snehabhavan Medical Center conduct camps in these colonies for general check-ups and medication distribution.
We arrange medical camps along with various other health-related events for the residents around Snehabhavan. Prominent local hospitals provide significant support in facilitating these medical camps.
We possess a skilled social work team dedicated to delivering tailored mental care and support based on individual needs.
Snehabhavan Edoor serves as a residence for girls under the age of 18, offering them quality education and the freedom to pursue their studies as long as they desire. Additionally, Snehabhavan has been privileged to be a part of the joyous occasions of bestowing new life through marriage upon many children.
This welfare and service institution established in June 2, 1994 was started by the St. Stephen’s Charitable Society with Bro. M.J Stephen Mankuzhiyil as the founder and president of the society
