This welfare and service institution established in June 2, 1994 was started by the St. Stephen’s Charitable Society with Bro. M.J Stephen Mankuzhiyil as the founder and president of the society. The society has 5 branches all over India under the name SNEHA BHAVAN ( one in Delhi and the four in Kerala ). The vision and goal of this society is to reach out with to the orphans, the disabled and mentally challenged. Our aim is social ostracism, UPLIFT OF THE PEOPLE, spending life on the street, bus stand and railway station, such people who live below poverty line are completely ignored even at the hospitals. They access to any sort of help since no one willing even to acknowledge their existence of this world. Therefore snehabhavan has made their mission to serve the poor and destitute without any discrimination of cast, creed, religion or language. Now we are having one clinic, doctor, two psychiatric social worker, four nurses and one lab technician for the treatment of the destitute and poor people.
